Linda
Born in our local Kakumbi village, Linda has spent her whole life in this place we’re lucky enough to call home. Now supporting her family including two kids and her mum, she’s been with Azimai since 2017. Linda loves the rain but not mud, nature but not dust and changing her style alone in front of the mirror, then pretending she’s doing nothing if someone catches her.
Zotwa
Born in the remote Kapanzi village, Zotwa has also spent most of her life in the South Luangwa valley. Zotwa has been with Azimai since 2017 and takes care of her sister and parents as well as her husband and daughter. Zotwa is our resident fashionista, loves singing at the top of her lungs, and creating in whatever form that may be.
Zillah
England born co-founder, Zillah landed in the South Luangwa in 2008 and felt a strong sense of this being her home for a while. Here she met her husband and 12 years later, she moved with her family just outside Cape Town to fulfill a dream of living by the ocean, Zillah loves barefoot walking on the beach, she has urges to shout things into the wind that no one can hear and can’t resist smelling almost everything!
Priya
The other of our co-founders, Priya moved to the South Luangwa in 2009 to work in a remote bush camp for what she thought was six months. 13 years, two dogs and two kids later, this is very much home for her and her family. Priya loves an adventure, taking her morning coffee to the river bank in front of her home and dancing in the kitchen with her family.
